Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy of BIO-ANTIOXIDANTS 2019 is effective as of 15.05.2019. Any changes will be posted on the conference website and all parties will be informed via e-mail.

The present Personal Data Use and Privacy Policy describes and refers only to the policy of the Organizing committee (OC) of the 3rd International Conference on Bio-antioxidants (BIO-ANTIOXIDANTS 2019), legally representing the Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IOCCP-BAS), acting as organizer of the conference, in respect to the receipt, storage and processing of personal information about the participants provided during their visit to the present website and the use of the online abstract submission system.

Information that OC, resp. IOCCP-BAS receive for the visitors of the website and how it is used

The information we receive for the visitors of our website is limited to depersonalized, segregated data that does not allow direct visitor identification.

The information is used solely for statistical purposes to measure the activity and traffic of our website and to improve visitor navigation.

Information that Google Analytics receives for the visitors of the website and how it is used.

If desired, and if it is applicable to you, you can also enter your scientific degree, academic title and phone number.

Mandatory information as well as optional information, if provided, will be collected and stored in the BIO-ANTIOXIDANTS 2019 database and used only for the purpose of organizing and conducting the conference and communicating with the participants to inform them on changes in the organization and programme, news and upcoming events, and answering to their questions and inquiries.

According to the BIO-ANTIOXIDANTS 2019 Privacy policy, OC, resp. IOCCP-BAS do not provide any personal information about the participants, obtained during their visit to the present website and/or when using the online abstract submission system, to third parties nor use them for marketing purposes without the explicit and voluntary prior written consent of the participants.

For administrative reasons, the personal data collected during their visit to this website and by using the online abstract submission system and processed by the OC until all related activities are concluded and 1 year after for report resons.

The data described above (IP address, your actions on our website, salutation, first name, last name, affiliation, working address and e-mail address) are collected on the basis of the legitimate interests of the administrator according to Art. 6, par. 1, b. (e) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Every individual has the following rights in respect to his/her personal data collected during his/her visit to this website and by using the online abstract submission system, and stored and processed by the OC, resp. IOCCP-BAS:

OC, resp. IOCCP-BAS do not make decisions based solely on automated processing involving the profiling of data subjects.

The data subject's right to information is made available through the brief, comprehensible and easily accessible information provided in this document relating to the processing of the data. Additional information related to the processing of personal data by the OC, resp.
